We invite you to the classical music festival in honor of the world-famous opera singer Ema Destinnova, who has conquered her entire cultural world with her singing.

Emilie Václavka Jindriska Pavlína Kittlová or Ema Destinnová was born on Friday February 26, 1878 in Kateřinská Street 5. This famous opera diva performed not only in the National Theater and other Czech cities, but also in Covent Garden, in the Berlin Opera House. She gained engagement at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. During the First World War, she cooperated with an anti-racist resistance. She was revered as a national heroine. Her soprano was a model of beauty. She died on January 28, 1930 in České Budějovice at the age of 52.
