One of the most popular restaurants in the center of České Budějovice, it is characterized by its interesting Rudolphine period interior, reminiscent of a time when alchemists searched for the philosopher’s stone in similar cellars. There is a functional alchemist furnace at the center of the restaurant, in which some of the dishes are made. The restaurant has pleasant staff and excellent cooking. It has won several domestic and international awards for gastronomy, and can seat 50 guests. It is also popular for various banquets and styled period feasts, including weddings.
