Working with Nature
The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice built an educational trail on the campus called “Pracujeme s přírodou” (Working with Nature) through which they would like to reveal various interesting things about the agricultural and food industry and other related sectors to those interested.
The educational trail includes twelve information boards located on the university campus around the Faculty of Agriculture. The trail goes around the experimental grounds and animal enclosures to the university cafeteria and back through the colonnade to Pavilion B of the Faculty of Agriculture. Every board is dedicated to a specific topic. Those interested can broaden their knowledge of, for example, the area of gene banks of domestic animals, genetics, protection of endangered species of animals and plants – CITES, game-keeping, food quality or nowadays the increasingly more popular organic food.
