The Dubičný Stream Nature Trail

Discover a lovely spot for a short walk, a rest or some fun with the children. The Dubičný potok nature trail is situated in České Budějovice, near Vrbenská Street, in the new Dubičný potok residential district. This modernised complex, featuring a water feature, a park and educational elements, opened in May 2025.

The short loop around the pond offers an easy route suitable for all ages. The entire site is wheelchair-accessible, so families with pushchairs and visitors with reduced mobility can also access it comfortably. There is a bus stop Dubičný potok right next to the trail.

During your walk, you can read the information panels dedicated to the local nature and biodiversity. The youngest visitors will enjoy the children’s playground with climbing frames and play equipment, whilst the more active can work out at the fitness area or play pétanque. A gazebo and barbecue area invite you to relax.

The site also features a natural courtyard planted with native trees, meadow flowers and perennials, designed according to modern principles of sustainable landscape management. The Dubičný Stream nature trail is the ideal destination for a short trip right in the city centre, offering a pleasant combination of time spent in nature and a modern public space.
